February is often associated with love, connection, and care – and at EM Consulting Group, those values aren’t just seasonal sentiments. They’re at the heart of everything we do, every single day of the year.

We’ve always believed that marketing is about more than visibility or growth. It’s about people, purpose, and showing up for the communities we serve. And this month, we’re especially proud of our work alongside two remarkable non-profit organizations doing meaningful, life-changing work right here in our community.

Standing Together: The Homeless Persons Candlelight Memorial

Recently, our team had the honor of joining Second Chance Society at First United Methodist Church of Fort Lauderdale for their annual Homeless Persons Candlelight Memorial. It was a solemn and powerful evening – one that reminded all of us why community matters and what it truly means to show up for one another.

Our community came together to pause, reflect, and honor the lives of those we’ve lost. People who had names, stories, and worth. Standing in that space was a reminder that compassion, dignity, and remembrance matter – and that community support can truly make a difference in ways that no marketing campaign ever could on its own.

For our team, being present at events like this isn’t an obligation. It’s a privilege. It grounds us in the “why” behind our work and reinforces the kind of company we want to be: one that measures success not just in metrics and conversions, but in the impact we have on real lives.

Building Bridges: Our Deep Connection to WestCare The Village South

We’re also honored to share our deepening involvement with WestCare The Village South, a nationally recognized organization that provides substance abuse treatment, mental health services, and supportive housing to individuals and families in need.

EM Consulting Group’s founder, Gregg Goldstein, serves as the Chair of WestCare The Village South’s Community Action Council – a role that keeps him closely connected to the organization’s mission, its challenges, and its incredible victories. Most recently, Gregg was invited to join WestCare’s national Board of Directors, a significant honor that reflects both his dedication to the cause and his belief that business leaders have a responsibility to invest themselves – not just their dollars – in the organizations that are making a difference.

Gregg’s involvement is a direct reflection of our company’s core belief: that investing time, leadership, and heart is just as important as providing professional expertise. Anyone can write a check. Far fewer are willing to show up, roll up their sleeves, and commit to the long, unglamorous work of building stronger communities.

Why This Matters to Us – and to You

You might be wondering: what does community involvement have to do with marketing?

Everything.

At EM Consulting Group, we don’t separate who we are from what we do. Our community work isn’t a side project or a PR strategy – it’s an expression of our values. And those same values drive the way we approach every client relationship, every campaign, and every strategy we develop.

When you partner with EM Consulting Group, you get more than marketing services. You get a team that cares – genuinely, not performatively. You get a partner that invests – in your brand, your goals, and the broader community you operate in. And you get a company that believes doing good and doing business can go hand in hand.

This February, we’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside organizations that lead with heart, and for clients who value purpose as much as performance. Because at the end of the day, the brands that resonate most deeply are the ones built on something real.
