True success isn’t just about business growth – it’s about impact. It’s about investing in people, building stronger communities, and sharing knowledge that inspires the next generation. This spring has been a season of meaningful connections, educational initiatives, and community engagement that remind us why relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

Advancing Education & Innovation at Nova Southeastern University

We’re proud to share that our founder, Gregg Goldstein, has joined the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Levan Ambassadors Board. This distinguished group of professionals supports academic excellence, innovation, and leadership development across South Florida.

Serving on this board isn’t just an honor – it’s an opportunity to shape the future. Universities are hubs of ideas, research, and discovery, but they thrive when supported by engaged community leaders. Gregg’s involvement reflects our ongoing commitment to bridging the gap between business leadership and educational innovation.

And the timing couldn’t be more important. A recent Lumina Foundation study found that 70% of jobs in the U.S. now require postsecondary education or training, highlighting the critical role universities play in preparing the workforce of tomorrow. By supporting initiatives that empower students and faculty, we’re investing in a stronger South Florida for decades to come.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Readers

This month, Gregg also took part in Broward County Public Schools’ “Real Men Read” initiative at Village Elementary School. The program brings positive male role models into classrooms to read aloud to children, encouraging literacy and sparking a love of books at an early age.

Why is this so important? Because reading is the foundation of lifelong learning. According to the National Literacy Trust, children who read for pleasure are five times more likely to perform well academically. Early literacy also shapes confidence, curiosity, and communication skills – qualities that last a lifetime.

Standing in front of a classroom of bright, eager faces, Gregg shared not just words on a page, but a message: reading is powerful, and stories can change lives. Programs like Real Men Read remind us that the smallest actions, like reading a book with a child, can make the biggest difference.

Event Spotlight: Healing by Design

Looking ahead, we’re excited to support an upcoming event that beautifully blends creativity, wellness, and community: “Healing by Design: Intentional Environments for Mental Wellness.”

Wednesday, May 28th | 6–8 PM
Jewel Toned Interiors – Fort Lauderdale, FL

Hosted in collaboration with the United Way of Broward County, this inspiring evening will explore how the spaces around us impact our emotional and mental well-being.

What to Expect:

  • A moderated panel of experts in design and mental health.
  • Insights into Feng Shui, WELL Building Standards, and sensory integration.
  • Practical tips for creating inclusive, healing environments.
  • Networking opportunities, light bites, and a gallery debut by a featured local artist.

The connection between design and wellness is more than aesthetic. Studies show that thoughtfully designed spaces can reduce stress by 27% and improve productivity by 20% (American Society of Interior Designers). Whether it’s a workplace, a classroom, or a home, intentional design can directly shape how we feel, think, and interact.

We’re proud to support an event that aligns so closely with our own mission: to create strategies and experiences that improve lives.

Why Community Engagement Matters to Us

These initiatives – from higher education to elementary literacy to wellness-focused design – all share a common thread: they build stronger communities.

And community is at the center of our philosophy. Businesses don’t succeed in isolation. They succeed when they invest in the people and places around them. Research from Harvard Business Review shows that companies with strong community ties see a 20% boost in long-term brand loyalty, because customers don’t just remember what you sell – they remember how you make them feel.

For us at EM Consulting Group, giving back isn’t just a side project. It’s a guiding principle. Every partnership, every campaign, and every initiative we support is rooted in the belief that relationships power growth – for businesses and for communities alike.

Looking Forward

As we head into summer, we carry with us the lessons of this season: that education shapes futures, that reading sparks possibilities, and that design influences well-being.

We’re proud of the milestones we’ve been part of and excited about the events ahead. But most of all, we’re grateful – grateful for the chance to collaborate with inspiring organizations, support meaningful initiatives, and continue building the kinds of relationships that truly matter.

Because when we invest in people, communities thrive. And when communities thrive, we all grow stronger together.
